  • How do I register for a pro-d event?

You can register for any Professional Services workshop, conference, series, or special event at thinklangley.pdplace.com. Langley School District staff can activate or log-in to their account using their employee number as their username and their district web application (i.e. Outlook, AMS) password. Out-of-district users can create their own account here.

Once you’ve signed into your account, you can search upcoming workshops by selecting the “Workshops” tab or browse using the “Calendar” tab. Click a workshop title to find out more details and select the “Register” button to sign up.

Certain workshops or conference require users to select one or more sessions. If this is the case, you will be prompted to select your sessions after registering. Some workshops also require payment to cover the costs of running the event. If there is a payment required, you will also be prompted to pay after registering. Payment can be made by payroll deduction, credit card, or cheque.

  • I can't remember my password. How can I reset it?

Langley School District staff can use their employee number and district web application password to access their accounts. If you want to recover or reset your password across district applications, please do so here. Out-of-district users can reset their passwords here.

  • How do I pay for an event I've signed up for?

To pay for a workshop, log in to your account at thinklangley.pdplace.com and select the “Workshops” tab. Scroll down the page to find a list of your current workshop registrations in reverse chronological order. To the right of the workshop you need to pay for, you will find a link that says “Pay”. Click this link to complete your payment. Once your payment has been received, your registration status will be changed from Pending to Attending. You can find a copy of your payment receipt in the same place where the “Pay” link used to be.

  • How can I select my conference sessions?

Once you have signed up for a conference at thinklangley.pdplace.com, you will be prompted to select your conference sessions. If you would like to select your sessions later or change your sessions, log in to your account and select the “Workshops” tab. Scroll down the page to find a list of your current workshop registrations in reverse chronological order. To the right of each conference, you will find a “Conference Sessions” link. Select this link and you will be directed to a page listing all of the available conference sessions.

Please note that this list may span several pages that you can navigate at the bottom of each page. You can view a session description by click on the session title. Once you have found a session that you would like to sign up for, check the box to the right of the session and press the “Submit” button at the bottom of the page.

To de-select a workshop session, uncheck the box and press the “Submit” button at the bottom of the page.
