Physical Literacy Series: Movement in the Classroom Matters

Physical activity is not just for the gym and recess. Children need to move more throughout the day; classroom included. This practical workshop will provide low-cost, no-cost strategies to incorporate more movement in existing classrooms. All participants will receive a resource kit to use in their classrooms. A practical and theoretical look at data collection, strengths and weaknesses of standardized tests. Sessions will teach participants how to administer a level B assessment, interpret data and plan for interventions. This is a four part series, taking place Jan 8, Jan 31, Feb 14 and Feb 22. All sessions take place at the SBO in the board room. Light snacks and coffee provided.
